Disney has renewed the animated series "Spidey and His Amazing Friends" for a seventh season, which will be released on Disney Jr. and Disney+ in 2028. No other Spider-Man series has ever reached seven seasons.
The decision to renew followed the project's popularity. Since its premiere, "Spidey and His Amazing Friends" has accumulated almost 1.3 billion hours of viewership on Disney+ and has become the most popular Marvel series on the platform.
"Spidey and His Amazing Friends" is aimed at a preschool audience and tells the adventures of Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy. Together with other Marvel heroes, they fight villains, help others, and learn to work together.
At D23, the first footage of the special episode Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! was also shown. In it, Spidey and his friends will team up with the Avengers against two new villains — Jack-o'-Lantern and Halloween Goblin. They are voiced by Fall Out Boy member Patrick Stump and HAIM member Este Haim, respectively.
The Halloween special will be shown on September 24, 2026, on Disney Jr., and will appear on Disney+ the next day.
