Recently, the creators of Crimson Desert introduced a major update 1.18.00, and soon after, Pearl Abyss studio returned with a smaller patch. The "hotfix 1.16.01" included several bug fixes that worsened the gameplay experience.
The developers noted that when talking to an NPC with the lantern on, the menu might glitch, and there are also issues with the display of some interior items that were placed in version 1.12.00 or earlier. In addition, they fixed the display of some areas on the map.
List of changes in hotfix 1.16.01:
- Fixed an issue where opening the interaction menu was delayed when talking to an NPC with the lantern on.
- Fixed an issue where interior items placed in version 1.12.00 or earlier were not displayed.
- Fixed an issue where the game would unexpectedly close immediately after logging in under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where some areas on the world map were displayed incorrectly.
Currently, Crimson Desert developers are fixing other bugs, for example, they noticed that on GTX 1060 graphics cards, enabling both "FSR Upscaling" and "Frame Generation" simultaneously causes a "white screen" effect.
