The Daily Record published photos from the set of "The Batman - Part II" in Glasgow. The city streets, portraying Gotham in the film, were decorated for Christmas: the pictures show festive decorations and a large Christmas tree. The context of the upcoming scene is unknown, but the decor confirms that at least some of the sequel's events will take place during the winter holidays.
Thus, Matt Reeves continues the approach from the first "Batman," which took place during Halloween. This structure also resembles the comic book "Batman: The Long Halloween," whose events spanned a whole year and unfolded during various holidays.
Plot details for the sequel are still being kept under wraps. Robert Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Jamie Lawson, and Gil Perez-Abraham will reprise their roles. Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry have also joined the cast, but Warner Bros. has not yet revealed who the newcomers will play.
"The Batman - Part II" is scheduled to premiere on February 18, 2028.
