Former Concord Artist Works on Marvel's Wolverine Design
Many people immediately noticed that something was wrong with the appearance of the heroes in Insomniac's new game.
Character artist Mackenzie Patrick, who previously worked on Concord at the now-closed Sony studio Firewalk, joined Insomniac Games after being laid off. According to her LinkedIn profile, Patrick is currently working on character design at Insomniac Games and specifically lists Marvel's Wolverine among her projects.
Patrick worked at Firewalk Studios since June 2022. After the studio closed in 2024, she reported that she and other employees lost their jobs. In her LinkedIn post, the artist also stated that she was part of the Concord character team and was looking for a new position as a character artist.
However, the move to Insomniac was a return to a familiar studio for Patrick. She had previously worked there: her involvement in Insomniac projects is confirmed by materials related to the development of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
