The creators of the anime "Ghost in the Shell" have released a special music video for the new composition po-ai feat. Mirai Moriyama.
The video was directed by the series' director, Moko-chan. The lyrics, music, and arrangement were prepared by the project's music director, Taisei Iwasaki. The vocal part was performed by Japanese actor and dancer Mirai Moriyama, known for the films "Shin Kamen Rider" and "Rage."
For the song, Iwasaki invented his own language, which does not exist in the real world. The musician developed it while interacting with several AIs, which seems symbolic for the series' theme, and then translated the written text into it.
The new "Ghost in the Shell" has been airing since July 7. Currently, seven out of ten episodes are available to viewers, with the finale scheduled for September 8. The very next day, an album with the official soundtrack of the series will be released, which will also include po-ai.
