At a rapid pace: the second season of "Stranger Things: Tales from '85" will be released just five months after the first
The events of the second season will unfold on the eve of Valentine's Day.
Fans of "Stranger Things" received unexpected news: the second season of the animated spin-off "Tales from '85" will be released on September 17, 2026, less than five months after the premiere of the first. Such a short break indicates that work on the sequel may have begun even before the first season was released.
Despite the autumn release, the events of the second season will unfold on the eve of Valentine's Day. Hawkins will face ghostly phenomena and a swarm of mysterious creatures, and the heroes will have to find out their origin before new gates to the Upside Down open in the city.
Showrunner Eric Robles also promised to show previously unknown locations in Hawkins. One of the new locations will be a mine that has not been explored before, neither in the main series nor in the first season of the spin-off:
"The most interesting thing is that we will go where we have never been before. There is a mine in Hawkins that we have not yet explored."
"Tales from '85" tells the story of the adventures of Eleven and her friends in the winter of 1985, between the events of the second and third seasons of the original "Stranger Things".
