Publisher Foot Games has released the card roguelike Dogpile on iOS and Android smartphones, as well as on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
Dogpile combines card mechanics with a principle familiar from "Tetris". Players play cards, after which dogs fall from above onto a gradually filling field. If two identical pets touch, they combine into one larger dog. Earned money can be spent on new cards and deck upgrades.
Dogs have different traits such as timidity, sleepiness, or a love for barking. New properties can be obtained in the "dog wash", and tokens allow you to change the effect of individual traits and build combinations. Therefore, you have to monitor the free space and think about where to send the next pet so that the field does not fill up prematurely.
Dogpile was originally released on PC in December 2025. Since then, the game has received about 700 user reviews on Steam, 96% of which are positive.
