Netflix has released new key art for The One Piece — a new anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's manga.
The first season will cover the first 50 chapters of the manga and tell the story of Luffy's journey through East Blue, where he assembles the Straw Hat Pirates crew. The season will conclude with the hero's meeting with Sanji, the sous chef of the floating restaurant "Baratie". All seven episodes will be released simultaneously, with a total runtime of approximately 300 minutes.
WIT Studio is working on the series in collaboration with Shueisha, Fuji Television, and Toei Animation. Masashi Koizuka, who worked on "Attack on Titan" and Moonrise, is the director. Taku Kishimoto is responsible for the series composition, while Kyoji Asano and TakaToshi Honda are in charge of character design.
The One Piece is set to premiere in February 2027.
