You can play a positively reviewed WWI shooter for free on Steam
In August, Flying Squirrel Entertainment and GG Publishing announced a new promotion. Players will be able to experience Over The Top: WWI for free.
In this shooter, they offer to transport yourself to the times of World War I and go fight in battles with 200 players – various classes and factions are available, and you can unlock equipment and personalization elements in the process:
The rifleman storms the trenches, the engineer fortifies them, the flamethrower maniac burns everything alive in them, and the officer sends airplanes to bomb them! Each class has its own task, but the method of execution is limited only by your imagination. The game has three factions (France, Britain, and Germany) and each has eight classes.
The Over The Top: WWI page on Steam is available at the following link. The free access promotion will last until August 24, 20:00 Moscow time. Reviews for the game are “very positive”, with an 83% rating after almost 7 thousand reviews.
The developers also launched a sale: a 40% discount on the base version of the game will be valid until August 27. Separate add-ons did not receive discounts.
