League of Legends Classic to Receive Major Update. Nerfs, Map Changes, and First Player Vote

Riot Games is preparing the second major patch for League of Legends Classic. Update 26.17 will bring balance changes, map modifications, and the first launch of The Council system.

Unlike the previous patch, there will be no new champions. David "Phreak" Turley confirmed that the next batch of characters will only appear with Patch 3. Riot will continue to add them in thematic groups – previously, three ninjas appeared this way: Shen, Akali, and Kennen.

Following player feedback, the developers decided to allocate more resources to the development of Classic. Subsequent updates will gradually expand the game while preserving its classic atmosphere.

The main novelty will be The Council – a voting system that will allow the community to influence the game's development. The votes of the most active and experienced players will carry more weight.

League Classic | Patch 2 Preview

The first vote will have about eight questions. Riot, in particular, will ask if accessories improve the gameplay experience, and will also inquire about the pace of matches. Patch 2 will be released next week.
