"Rise Against the Rules": Second Season of "Fate/strange Fake" Anime Gets First Teaser and Poster
The creators of "Fate/strange Fake" have announced the second season of the anime. The announcement was made at the Anime NYC festival, where the first teaser and poster for the continuation were also unveiled.
The anime is set in the American city of Snowfield, where mages attempt to conduct their own Holy Grail War. The ritual turns out to be an imperfect copy of the original, causing the usual rules to cease functioning, and the confrontation between Masters and Servants quickly spirals out of control.
Ryohgo Narita, the author of the original light novels, admitted that even he struggles to imagine how some upcoming events will be adapted to the screen:
"Even I, the original author, look at this story and think, 'How can this even be animated?!' But the anime team found the best answer. As a viewer, I eagerly await the result."
A-1 Pictures was responsible for the animation of the first season, with Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume as directors, Daisuke Ohigashi writing the script, and Hiroyuki Sawano composing the music. The creators have not yet specified whether this team will remain fully intact for the continuation.
The release date and number of episodes for the second season of "Fate/strange Fake" have not yet been announced.
