Drones and Facehuggers Return: Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Developers Show Xenomorphs
The developers of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 talked about the game's enemies: in addition to classic Drones and Facehuggers, new threats will appear.
Drones and Facehuggers will return, and players will also have to face new threats – the Guardian and the Siren.
After showcasing all classes and cooperative gameplay in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, the developers decided to talk more about the enemies. The main threat to colonial marines will once again be xenomorphs.
Classic Drones attack in a swarm and quickly retreat, moving through ventilation. Facehuggers hide on the floor and near eggs. Flamethrowers are effective against them, and if a creature manages to latch onto a player, a teammate can save them with a precise shot.
The Guardian is a new enemy. It is dangerous in close combat, moves quickly, and can spit acid from a distance. The Siren is best destroyed as soon as possible – its scream calls for reinforcements.
Fire will help against xenomorphs, but to survive, you will have to skillfully combine firearms and explosives. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will be released on August 25 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
