At D23, Marvel has not yet revealed the full cast of the new "X-Men."
"Alien: Romulus" star Cailee Spaeny may still join the cast of the "X-Men" reboot. According to Knight Edge Media, the actress continues negotiations with Marvel Studios, although the role of Rogue, for which she was also considered, ultimately went to Indi Navarrette.
Spaeny is now reportedly being considered for a supporting character who could be brought to the forefront in future films:
"She is still in talks with Marvel Studios to appear as a supporting character with the potential for an expanded role in future films."
Insider MyTimeToShineHello also claims that negotiations are ongoing and calls Spaeny's supposed role "insane." What exactly is meant by this is unknown, as the character's name has not yet been revealed.
At D23, Marvel Studios only revealed part of the "X-Men" cast. Kit Connor was confirmed as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Indi Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm. Kevin Feige has already made it clear that this is not the entire cast of the film.
Jake Schreier will direct "X-Men." The premiere is scheduled for May 5, 2028.
