Bus Gameplay in Euro Truck Simulator 2 - New Mechanics and Passenger Transport Shown
The economy will be shared, so players will be able to purchase a bus almost immediately with accumulated funds or on credit.
The creators of the truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have presented a new development diary dedicated to the creation of the Coaches expansion with playable buses.
This time, SCS Software studio presented an overview gameplay trailer, showcasing various mechanics. As with trucks, players will be able to buy their own bus to customize it, go on a journey, or fulfill orders.
The interface for selecting passenger transport contracts looks similar to "cargo" – only now, instead of goods, various passenger icons are used.
The economy for trucks and buses is shared, so Euro Truck Simulator 2 players can accumulate money in various ways: earn money by completing "quick contracts" on a bus or regular contracts on a truck before buying their own bus. Purchasing on credit is also possible.
Some bus upgrades will not be available immediately but will unlock gradually.
