Dota 2 servers crashed - Valve's game has the best online in Steam in the last 4 years

The final of the summer tournament The International 2026 for Dota 2 attracted increased attention. After the esports event concluded, many players went to the MOBA, and against this background, the online presence significantly increased.
This weekend, Dota 2's peak online presence on Steam surpassed 1 million players. Users noted that the game had not seen such popularity since 2022.
However, against the backdrop of increased online activity, members of the Dota 2 community began to complain on the game's forum on Steam: the servers could not cope with the influx of players, and some began to experience connection problems. Now they are taking a roll call of those "whose Dota is not working."
In the final of The International 2026, Team Spirit faced Team Vision, the confrontation ended with a score of 3-2 in favor of Spirit.
The first four places (prizes distributed among 16 teams):
- For first place, Team Spirit will receive 1.45 million dollars (42.5% of the total fund).
- Second place TEAM VISION — 442 thousand dollars (13%)
- Third place Team Yandex — 306 thousand dollars (9%)
- Fourth place BoomBoys — 204 thousand dollars (6%).
