PMCs no longer simulate fatigue in Escape from Tarkov - developers fixed controls and talked about improvements
Some mechanics clearly didn't work as intended.
The creators of Escape from Tarkov continue to gradually eliminate various technical problems. This week, they presented a technical update designed to restore control settings and more.
Some players encountered a bug that prevented them from configuring controls. Battlestate Games announced a fix: "fixed the display of NONE in the control settings, which led to the inability to use hotkeys."
Now the PMC (main character) fatigue effect should be reproduced correctly: previously, the effect could trigger even if the player had a full stamina bar.
In addition, the behavior of the character model after death was fixed in "some cases."
Other changes:
- Fixed incorrect weapon grip animation in some cases;
- Fixed darkening on the Lab location if the player was previously in a raid on an open location;
- Fixed inability to aim in the Shooting Range in the Hideout after visiting traders.
- According to comments, some users are still encountering "error 228" – they are urging Battlestate Games to do something about it.
Escape from Tarkov developers plan to continue adding new weapon models to the game, and a map and improvements – including cosmetic ones – are also in the works.
