Players in VHOLUME will be able to compete in speedrunning levels.

In late August, Nathan Grange, Léonard Lemaitre, Niels Tiercelin, and IronEqual announced the release of VHOLUME on PC via Steam. The developers position their project as a melancholic first-person parkour adventure.

The events of VHOLUME unfold in the ruined capital of Afro-Eurasia, under the control of the almighty Ministry. According to the story, Robert must embark on a "bureaucratic mission" to restore his family's annulled food stamps.

Gameplay focuses on movement — the player will jump, run, climb, and slide to progress through a dystopian brutalist city towards their goal. You can play alone or join friends in multiplayer to complete levels together.

There is a competitive element: you can watch "ghosts" of other players' runs and share your own race results.

The VHOLUME page on Steam is available at the following link. There is a demo version, and a 10% release discount will be active until August 28. The developers noted that the game already supports community-created levels through the "Steam Workshop".
