3 days until the official GTA VI gameplay reveal. Leaks uncover an avalanche of details

Only three days remain until the official GTA VI reveal, but massive leaks have already unveiled dozens of game details, including new mechanics, world features, and story missions.

The past weekend brought an unprecedented wave of unofficial materials for Grand Theft Auto VI. Judging by the videos, the source of the leaks gained access to a large, almost complete segment of the game. The videos show story missions, various hairstyles and beard options for Jason, his hideout in the Cay-Lento area, and mission objectives related to Lucia.

The materials demonstrate a huge and detailed world. Flying over night-time Vice City reveals dense traffic, an airport, and the Mount Kalaga mountain range. The game also features fauna systems familiar from Red Dead Redemption 2: specific spots for catching different types of fish, and permanent slots for a fishing rod and binoculars in the inventory.

Leaks confirmed body dismemberment when hit by heavy vehicles, volumetric smoke from cigarettes and damaged cars, as well as mini-games like billiards. Enclosed locations feature advanced character physics and cinematic camera.

Store and gas station robberies have limitations on the amount of cash that can be carried and manual collection of bills. Cars can be inspected by opening the hood, and weapons can be selected via a full wheel directly while driving.

The game also showed chases with police Buffalo STX and trucks. Some stolen cars are equipped with GPS, allowing police to quickly locate them. The player will have to hide or switch to a car without a tracker.

Special attention is paid to details: you can refuel and repair the car without getting out of it, Jason can go to the toilet and talk to a homeless person. NPCs more actively protect property, use turn signals, and radio stations feature V-Rock, Emotion 98.3, Symphony FM, and songs by Jamiroquai, Tommy Richman, and Bad Company.

The GTA VI reveal starts on August 27th on Netflix, followed by a broadcast on YouTube.
