Boris PiletskiyPlayers will have to gain experience in raids.
A new ranked league system is being prepared for Escape from Tarkov. Groups of players will compete weekly in gaining experience on seasonal characters and advance through ranks – rewards are promised for them.
Recently, Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov published a list of these ranks, and now he has revealed some details of the system.
After the first raid, players will be distributed into a group of 50 players of the corresponding rank:
- The player's position in the group (leaderboard) is determined by the amount of experience (XP) gained per week.
- Experience in raids is awarded for eliminating PMCs, bots, and bosses, completing tasks, researching items, and other actions. Experience gained in the “arena” (EFT: Arena) is not counted in the leagues.
- The more experience a player earns, the higher their rating will be in the group (leaderboard).
- At the end of each week, the top 25 players are promoted to the next rank, 15 remain in the current rank, and 10 are demoted.
- At ranks №5 and №6, the top 20 players are promoted, 20 remain in the current rank, and 10 are demoted.
- Upon first reaching a new rank, the player receives rewards for that rank.
- Earned rewards remain in the collection forever, even if the rank is subsequently lowered.
Buyanov showed the rewards for the Conductor (VII) rank:
