The massive Tamriel Rebuilt mod for TES III: Morrowind has been released on GOG - it adds over 1000 new quests, factions, and story content

Fans have expanded the Bethesda Game Studios classic.

GOG not only releases DRM-free games but also modifications. The developers made it so that players can install the mod with a single click. Recently, the list of projects was updated with Tamriel Rebuilt — a large modification for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind that adds a lot of new content to the game.

This version of Tamriel Rebuilt runs on the open-source game engine OpenMW, and the project also includes additional modifications that improve performance.

In honor of the release, GOG published a special trailer for the modification:

Modders offer players in Tamriel Rebuilt to explore new territories, such as the desert region of Shipal Shin or the peaks of the Velothi Mountains. You can complete over 1000 additional quests, as well as get acquainted with new factions, read new books, explore story content, encounter new creatures (friendly and not so friendly), and visit various settlements and dungeons.

The Tamriel Rebuilt modification itself is free, but players must own the GOG version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition.
