Jokers at SEGA: Persona 6 to Get Physical Edition Only on PlayStation 5

Despite the official announcement of the game taking place at the Xbox Games Showcase.

SEGA has confirmed that Persona 6 will be released on physical media, but the disc version will only be available for PlayStation 5. The game is also announced for Xbox Series X|S and PC, but there are no plans to release disc versions for these platforms.

The decision seems somewhat unexpected, especially considering that SEGA itself previously made statements about reducing the role of discs.

The appearance of information about a physical release may also indirectly indicate that Persona 6 is closer to completion than previously thought.

The next major installment in the series was unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase earlier this year. Since then, SEGA has revealed almost no details about the game.
