The graphics issue in two games of the franchise has been resolved.

Work on the PlayStation 3 emulator is steadily progressing. Currently, almost 3 thousand games can be played on the RPCS3 emulator, and 773 projects have an "Ingame" status.

This category also includes two old games from the GoW franchise — God of War III, as well as God of War: Ascension. "Ingame" means that these games can be launched, but cannot be completed due to technical problems and bugs.

Recently, RPCS3 developers announced a significant milestone — GoW III and GoW: Ascension have been "fixed on PC":

Yahfz fixed an issue with the emulation of the RSX processor's DP3 fragment shader function. This eliminates the last remaining graphical bug affecting God of War games on the RPCS3 emulator.

However, performance issues still persist, and the status of God of War III and God of War: Ascension in the database remains "Ingame".
