Anbernic has published a new review video dedicated to the RG 55G1 handheld console. In the video, the developers showed the unboxing of the device and presented its full specifications.

The RG 55G1 features a 5.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon G1 Gen 2 chip, a Qualcomm Adreno A12 GPU, 4–8 GB of RAM and 64–128 GB of internal storage, Android 14 operating system, and a microSD card slot for up to 2 TB.
The device is equipped with stereo speakers, a 6000 mAh battery with support for 18-watt charging, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0. The console will be able to play projects from Android, Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS, PS2, Wii, NGC, PSP, DC, SS, PS1, NDS, N64, Arcade, FBA, Neo Geo, MAME, Naomi, Atomiswave, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC, MD, SMS, MSX, PCE, WSC, PICO-8, and other platforms.
The device weighs 339 grams. The console will be available in "indigo," "retro gray," and "black" colors. Additionally, the video showed various games running on the Anbernic RG 55G1 and demonstrated support for streaming services, online matches, and external controllers.
