Games Workshop employees have unveiled a new miniature of a Space Marine Captain on a "Raider" pattern combat bike for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game.
The vehicle is covered with decorative elements, and the Captain himself wears all the insignia of high rank, including a majestic cloak. Such commanders are especially popular in Chapters that value fast, deadly close-combat attacks (e.g., White Scars and Blood Angels); many Chapters also send commanders on combat bikes for reconnaissance operations or lightning raids.
The kit for the Captain's right hand includes a power sword, thunder hammer, or plasma pistol. Scabbards for the sword are also included – if the player chooses a sword or wants to keep it in the scabbard while holding a pistol.
The kit includes five head options (three unhelmeted and two helmeted), and the bike itself can be assembled in a moving pose or tilted, as if stopping, with the rider resting a foot on the ground.

The Captain grants his unit the "Cleave 1" ability after an attack, allowing them to effectively destroy enemy hordes. The miniature will go on sale simultaneously with the release of the upcoming "Codex: Space Marines."
