Orc Warboss Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub to Get New Miniature in Warhammer 40,000

The developers of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game have unveiled a new miniature for Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub - the "Bad Moons" Warboss, and one of the smartest and most cunning warlords among all greenskins.

Collectors who respect Gork and Mork have a big celebration today. Warboss Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub will not only appear in the strategy game Total War: Warhammer 40,000 but will also get a new miniature for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game, which will be released in the upcoming “Codex: Orks”.

Games Workshop staff took Nazdreg's classic 2nd Edition miniature and refined every element, while retaining enough nostalgic touches.

His updated dakka deserves special attention. Nazdreg's mega-armor on his right arm boasts a shmalyala called “Kustom-X-Blasta” — the newest and currently most beloved addition to his personal arsenal of high-caliber and super-lethal guns.

The banner on his back also looks impressive. It still proudly displays the Bad Moon symbol, as well as various glyphs of conquest and cunning.

Nazdreg has always been a significant force in Warhammer 40,000 lore. For example, he periodically allied with Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka — first on Piscina IV, and later on Armageddon. In addition, this Warboss has repeatedly clashed with various Imperial forces and even had a shootout with the Keen Eye enclave.

In Warhammer 40,000 games, Nazdreg is strong in both shooting and close combat. He brings several useful tools to the battlefield. His “Kustom-X-Blasta” has three firing profiles and, unlike most combi-weapons, can fire all three simultaneously. Nazdreg hits on a 4+ (and can fire it in close combat).

His main close combat weapon, the Moonbiter Klaw, has impressive characteristics with “Cleave” and “Damage 3” properties, making it an excellent tool for cutting through elite enemy infantry units.

He can also allow his unit to use “Deep Strike” and force allied troops nearby to automatically pass a combat shock test. Nazdreg has reactive movement, ignores cover, and can rile up a unit (allowing fighters to act as if a “Waaagh!” was declared this turn).

Nazdreg will be released with “Codex: Orks” in a few weeks.
