New Fable is set to surprise players: Xbox reveals frame rate on consoles

Xbox has confirmed an important detail about Fable - the game will support 60 FPS on consoles. The release is scheduled for February 23, 2027.

The official page for the new Fable confirmed full support for 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X and Series S. A similar performance is expected on PS5.

The game will utilize the capabilities of the current generation of Microsoft consoles, including 4K Ultra HD resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR).

However, the developers have not yet revealed how the graphical modes will be distributed. It is likely that players will be offered a choice between enhanced performance and higher image quality.

Fable's release is scheduled for February 23, 2027. It is possible that new materials will be shown during the ongoing Gamescom 2026.
