NVIDIA Released New DLSS 4.5 Version. In-Game Graphics Will Be Significantly Better

NVIDIA has released a new DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction model, which improves image quality with ray tracing without performance loss.

DLSS 4.5 has allowed for high image quality since the beginning of the year, even in Ultra Performance mode, for example, restoring images from 720p to 4K. The main drawback was the lack of compatibility with Ray Reconstruction. This has now been fixed.

The new model is already available to all RTX graphics card owners via the NVIDIA App beta. To enable it, open Settings → About, agree to use beta versions, then go to Graphics → DLSS Override → Model Presets and select Preset F for ray reconstruction.

According to tests by Hardware Unboxed and TechPowerUp, the quality improvement is noticeable, and performance does not decrease. DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction reduces blur, ghosting, reflection issues, and "boiling" pixels in ray tracing.
