The tabletop 4X strategy game Last Light will be released in Russia: cosmic showdowns in a dying universe

Pre-orders for the tabletop 4X strategy game Last Light, where players will manage various factions, command fleets, explore planets, and extract valuable resources, are expected to open in Russia in the second half of September.

Crowd Games announced that it will release Last Light in Russian — a dynamic tabletop 4X strategy game from Grey Fox Games and game designer Roy Cannaday.

Pre-orders are expected to open in the second half of September 2026. The team will offer the following: the base game, an expansion, deluxe versions, accessories, and even promos.

Last Light should appeal to fans of games like "Twilight Imperium" who don't want to spend too much time on a single session.

2–4 players will control asymmetrical factions, admire the board adorned with volumetric planets (resembling lollipops), participate in exciting battles, and constantly be in the thick of the action.

The goal is to collect 20 units of light from the last star before the universe perishes. Of course, not everyone will get the light. Players simultaneously play cards and perform actions: explore planets, extract resources, research useful technologies, and command fleets.

With the expansion, the number of participants can be increased to eight people — it will be much harder to keep track of rivals, but a fun game lasting several hours is guaranteed.
