Recently, CD Projekt RED not only fully unveiled the upcoming story expansion Songs of the Past for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but also announced a remaster of the game. The company also reported a collaboration with Blizzard: the game will be sold on Battle.net.
Players noticed a store page that revealed the system requirements for the remaster. The developers will not support outdated Windows 7 and Windows 10 systems.

- GPU: GTX 1660 / RX 5500 XT
- RAM: 12 GB

The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster is expected on September 29, 2026, while the Songs of the Past expansion does not yet have an exact release date, only a release window – 2027.
Modder HalkHogan recently confirmed that he is collaborating with CD Projekt RED to help with the remaster.
