Vampire Survivors Gets Major DLC Legacy of the Bloodmoon with New XL Map, Characters, and Weapons
Developers continue to expand the list of playable characters.
Recently, poncle and their team returned to Vampire Survivors and released the premium add-on Legacy of the Bloodmoon for the game. The developers have prepared a lot of new content for the game.
Players are invited to explore a new XL-sized map, "Red Moon Manor." From a lore perspective, this is the Ancient Lair of the Order of the Red Moon:
Legend has it that Baal-Tazar built it as a fortress to hide the secret of immortality. But Malicia and Calogero discovered that the manor truly exists. What is really hidden within it?
In addition, Legacy of the Bloodmoon includes new compositions, over ten new characters, and more than 16 new weapons, including "Eclipse of the Celestial Vault" and a "fireball."
The developers commented on the addition of the fireball as a weapon: "Yes, yes, the height of originality. A fireball will appear in Vampire Survivors. Not to be confused with fire rain, fire wall, and their combination – the fire rain wall."
The first reviews for the Legacy of the Bloodmoon add-on for Vampire Survivors on Steam are "very positive" — a 100% rating after almost a hundred reviews.
