007 First Light Update 1.1.1 Released - Developers Fixed Achievements and a Bug Preventing the Game from Launching

Trophies and achievements should now unlock correctly.

In late August, IO Interactive returned to 007 First Light and released update 1.1.1. This is a purely technical update; the developers are not adding new content to the game.

The developers stated that they fixed a problem that could prevent the game from launching on some PCs, leading to a "black screen" and subsequent client crash.

Additionally, they reported that a "rare issue" was resolved, which could cause a crash during the training course in Malta if the game was paused.

The developers also announced that they fixed several issues related to unlocking achievements. They did not go into detail, only stating that "a number of improvements and fixes have been made to the backend of the game's online systems." The "achievement unlocking logic" has been improved on PC, as well as in console versions of the game.

The creators of 007 First Light did not specify when they plan to release the next update for the game. Earlier this year, they published a roadmap: at that time, they teased challenges, a "New Game+ Campaign" mode, and a new mission featuring Bauma.
