Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition has been released on Nintendo Switch 2. The edition includes the original Elden Ring and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, as well as a number of additional materials.
The Tarnished Edition includes two new classes – Heavy Knight and Idus Knight. In addition, players received four new armor sets and three appearance options for their faithful companion Torrent.

Simultaneously with the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 version, FromSoftware released patch 1.17. The update adds support for new content, makes balance changes, and fixes various bugs. In addition, new weapons and invasion events for the Tarnished in Caelid and Leyndell, Royal Capital, were added to the game.
The Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition for Switch 2 runs at a stable 30 frames per second at 1080p resolution in both handheld mode and when the console is connected to a TV. The compromises compared to other versions turned out to be relatively small.
