Funcom to Boost Dune: Awakening on PS5 Pro to 60 fps

Developers showcased gameplay on Sony's console.

Funcom presented seven minutes of new Dune: Awakening gameplay, recorded on PlayStation 5 Pro.

The developers confirmed that players on PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro will have access to two graphics modes. The performance mode targets 60 frames per second at dynamic 4K resolution, while the quality mode will run at 30 fps and also use dynamic 4K.

Additionally, the console will receive further visual enhancements in quality mode. Funcom has not yet specified which resolutions will be used or which graphics settings will be altered.

The console release of Dune: Awakening will include all content and improvements that have appeared in the PC version since its launch in June 2025. Simultaneously, the developers will add several major new features: a full-fledged single-player mode, scalable difficulty, expanded gameplay customization options, and the conclusion of the current storyline.
