Hayden Christensen May Return in Darth Vader Film - Rumor
Earlier, an insider reported the actor's involvement in at least two new Lucasfilm projects in addition to the second season of "Ahsoka."
According to an anonymous insider from Culture Cave, Hayden Christensen has signed a new contract with Disney and Lucasfilm, which will allow him to once again play Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in a solo project.
Neither Disney nor Lucasfilm have yet confirmed the deal or the development of a solo film, and the information about the contract signing itself is not supported by reports from major industry publications. However, back in May, reputable insider Daniel Richtman, whose information often proves reliable, claimed that Lucasfilm plans to involve Christensen in at least two projects after the second season of "Ahsoka."
The actor himself regularly speaks about his desire to continue Anakin's story. Recently, Christensen suggested reassembling the main cast from the prequel trilogy and admitted that he is particularly interested in adapting the events of the Clone Wars:
"I know Ewan McGregor would like to do something else. I heard Natalie wouldn't mind coming back either. Samuel Jackson. So we could get the whole gang back together."
The second season of "Ahsoka" will be released on Disney+ on January 20, 2027.
