Orikan is an unparalleled astromancer, capable of calculating future events by the position of the stars. Through meticulous analysis and observation, he can foresee both major and minor occurrences and warn his allies of what is to come.
This Necron was the only one who foresaw the catastrophic consequences of the deal with the C'tan gods and openly opposed biotransference, understanding that his people would lose their souls.
The Diviner's character can be described as arrogant, cynical, calculating, and incredibly egocentric. Due to his brilliant mind, he harbors genuine contempt for more primitive races, as well as most other Necrons.
Orikan is calculating to the core, extremely vindictive, and willing to wait centuries for his enemies to literally rot away before delivering one perfect strike. This character possesses the Staff of Tomorrow, which exists half a second ahead of "the present," so its strikes hit the target an instant before the attack itself.
Orikan also uses a phase shifter. The wielder of such a device flickers in real space, disappearing and reappearing. If timed incorrectly, blows and projectiles intended for the phase shifter's owner will instead pass through empty space. And with a device called a chronometron (which looks like an eye), he creates an energy bubble that slows down incoming enemy beams and ammunition.
