A remake of the cult classic Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) was shown - a fan recreated the map and gameplay mechanics using Roblox

Recently, players once again remembered the cult classic of the Electronic Arts racing franchise. The author of the YouTube channel tabby published a development diary for an unofficial remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005). He reassembled the arcade racer using the Roblox game-platform engine and demonstrated a selection of gameplay footage.

The developer not only recreated the familiar Rockport map from NFS: Most Wanted (2005) for racing fans, but also implemented gameplay mechanics and systems — physics works; objects can be knocked down (not just cones or benches, but also activating a "donut" trap); nitro boost and time slowdown work.

 The police chase system with different wanted levels, car sales, and car tuning also work.

tabby clarified that this demonstration of the "Roblox Need for Speed: Most Wanted" project is a technical demo, meaning he will not release it in this form.

For now, tabby is not ready to even give an approximate release date for his project. He explained that he plans to find artists to remove all content copyrighted by Electronic Arts.
