New photos and videos from the filming of "The Batman. Part II" in Glasgow have appeared online. The footage shows Gotham police surrounding the Batmobile with several cars and opening fire. Batman breaks free from the trap by ramming a GCPD vehicle, but fans' particular attention was drawn to an unknown blonde woman in the passenger seat.
It is speculated online that this is Scarlett Johansson's character, although a stunt double for the actress was likely used in the scene itself. Who Johansson is playing is still unknown. Possible options discussed include journalist Vicki Vale, Bruce Wayne's lover Silver St. Cloud, Gilda Dent, and Andrea Beaumont, known as Phantasm. Earlier rumors also mentioned Poison Ivy, but there is no confirmation of this version.
Videos with chase fragments can be viewed here and here.
In addition to Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry have joined Robert Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell in the sequel. The creators are still keeping the roles of the new cast members a secret.
The premiere of "The Batman. Part II" is scheduled for February 18, 2028.
