Alpha Version of Gothic 1 Remake Multiplayer Released by Modders
Players will be able to create their own servers for online play.
A few weeks ago, the author of the YouTube channel F0rtuno spoke about preparing a public alpha version of the multiplayer mode for the Gothic remake. This project is intended to become the basis for full-fledged unofficial servers where players can jointly travel through the Valley of Mines.
Now he has announced the release of an early version: "Alpha 0.1" of Gothic 1 Remake: Multiplayer (or G1R: MP for short) is now available. The blogger demonstrated the server browser, the process of starting an online session, and several gameplay examples.

During the journey through the world of the Gothic remake: the frame rate generally remained stable at 60+ FPS. At the same time, the video card load was 20-30%, and the processor load ranged from 7-9% to 20% depending on the scene.
This is far from the final version of Gothic 1 Remake: Multiplayer, and the modders have not yet implemented many ideas. They will now study community feedback and refine the unofficial multiplayer.
The game Gothic 1 Remake itself continues to be supported by the developers. Recently, Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic released another patch for the game.
