The Witcher 3 received new music after 11 years - CD Projekt RED revealed a surprise

CD Projekt RED released a mini-album with five tracks from "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Ballads of the Past" so that fans can brighten up the wait for the new expansion.

During gamescom 2026, the Polish studio held the fourth day of REDStream, dedicated to its games. At the same time, the period in which developers revealed new details about The Witcher 3 and its third expansion is gradually coming to an end. However, CD Projekt RED is not going to leave fans without new materials about Geralt's adventures.

The studio confirmed that new music was written for "Ballads of the Past". A mini-album of five compositions, which previously sounded in presentations of new content for the 11-year-old game, appeared on the official YouTube channel of the series.
