DEEP announced the launch of its own online cinema. The service will start operating on September 4 and will become a new platform for distributing the company's licensed content.
At launch, users will have access to current ongoing series, and the catalog is planned to be updated with approximately 14 new episodes every week. By the end of 2026, DEEP expects to add more than 3000 episodes of already released anime, donghua, and doramas.
According to the company, the library will contain over 360 titles dubbed by DEEP, AniStar, "Dublyazhnaya", NDA STUDIO, Flarrow Films, Jaskier, Amber, and other studios. In addition, exclusive versions will appear on the platform. For example, the previously announced dubbing of the third season of "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" by AniLibria will be available specifically on the DEEP service.
Initially, the online cinema will be available via browser and an Android application. Later, DEEP plans to release versions for iOS and Smart TV. Among the announced features are a schedule of upcoming premieres, catalog search and filtering, a personal profile, and a list of favorite titles. A personal achievement system is also under development.
A subscription will cost 149 rubles per month, 420 rubles for three months, 799 rubles for six months, and 1550 rubles for a year. DEEP will also offer perpetual access to the library for 15,000 rubles.
The announcement has already caused a mixed reaction from some of the audience. Some users were skeptical about the appearance of another platform, citing previous complaints about DEEP's localizations and discussions about censorship of certain releases. In addition, the company has not yet answered questions about what will happen to its content currently available on other online cinemas.
