12 minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past gameplay - overview trailer with Russian subtitles
The developers have prepared new content and NPC improvements.
CD Projekt RED participated in Gamescom and announced the remaster of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as well as fully presented the story expansion Songs of the Past (or “Ballads of the Past” in Russian localization).
Now the developers have prepared a separate 12-minute video reviewing the content of the Songs of the Past expansion – they avoided serious spoilers, so fans don't have to worry.
The focus was on the new region of Letten, which players will be able to explore during the DLC playthrough. In terms of scale, it is comparable to Toussaint and can be freely explored.
In this video, the main character Geralt appears before players in traditional Belleteyn attire, as he participated in the celebration.
The developers said that Letten was largely inspired by Polish and English villages. NPCs will have “more complex daily routines and more complex dialogues” than in Geralt's earlier adventures.
The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster is scheduled for September 29 of this year. The Songs of the Past expansion does not yet have a specific release date, but the release window is already known – 2027.
