Marvel's Wolverine PS5 Size and Preload Start Date Revealed

Players will be able to prepare for the release of Insomniac Games' new project.

The release of Marvel's Wolverine is approaching, and information about the preload start date and game size on PlayStation 5 has appeared online.

This data was shared by the PlayStation Game Size account, which tracks such information:

• Marvel's Wolverine will weigh approximately 79.36 GB
• Preload is expected to start on September 8, i.e., a week before the game's release.

Players will be able to read reviews of Marvel's Wolverine a few days before the game's release: the first materials should appear on September 10, at 6:00 PM Moscow time – at this point, the publication embargo will be lifted.

Marvel's Wolverine is scheduled for release on September 15, 2026, exclusively on PlayStation 5.

Pre-orders are already open – there is a standard edition, as well as an expanded one, which includes the following digital bonuses in addition to the game:

• Five exclusive costumes,
• Five exclusive claw sets,
• Four skill points,
• Early access to the classic brown costume,
• Early access to mirrored claws,

In addition, players will receive four PlayStation avatars for their collection.
