First Alien: Isolation 2 Gameplay - All the Scariest Things Are Back

At gamescom 2026, gameplay of the Alien: Isolation 2 prologue was shown, in which the heroine Blake explores the wreckage of a crashed ship and hides from the Alien.

Alien: Isolation 2 showed prologue gameplay at gamescom 2026 – the sequel largely repeats the mechanics of the first part and once again forces players to hide from the Alien.

In the demo, the main character Blake explores the wreckage of a crashed spaceship, trying to find survivors and useful supplies. After the appearance of a destroyed synthetic, the girl encounters a xenomorph and tries to sneak past it unnoticed.

As before, the player will be able to distract the Alien with bottles and flares. At the same time, it will be necessary to move as quietly as possible, as the monster hears footsteps and quickly begins pursuit.

The demonstration ends with Blake being captured and the ship being carried away by the river current. It is known that the settlement on the planet will also be involved in the events, so the scale of events may turn out to be much more serious than in the first game.

Creative Assembly has not yet announced a release date, although development has significantly progressed since the announcement in October 2024. Alien: Isolation 2 will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
