Most PC gamers on Steam play at 1080p. Valve presented the average PC in July 2026

Not all gamers are interested in 4K resolution. Valve's statistics indicate different preferences.

Valve continues to survey PC gamers who use Steam. The company then publishes the collected statistics on the "hardware" used in the public domain.

Data for the past month was recently presented, and it became possible to "assemble" an average PC using the obtained information about components.
