DLSS RR 4.5 can now also be used.

In late August, modder xoxor4d returned with another update for the unofficial RTX remaster of Grand Theft Auto IV. Update 1.5.1 includes a number of technical improvements and fixes.

Recently, players gained access to the NVIDIA DLSS 5 library, and xoxor4d announced that it is now possible to try using the technology in his project as well — for this, you will need to provide your own "nvngx_dlssnr.dll" (files are not included in the remaster). In addition, the project now supports DLSS RR 4.5 (Ray Reconstruction).

xoxor4d continues to distribute his project "gta4-rtx" (GTAIV RTX Remix Compatibility Mod) for free via GitHub. A full description of update 1.5.1 is available at the following link. The modder has not yet announced when he plans to release the next update.

Rockstar Games itself is currently preparing for the release of the full new installment of the Grand Theft Auto VI franchise — the game is expected to be released in November of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. A gameplay presentation was recently held.
