The second season of the anime "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf" will be released in 2027. Along with the premiere window, the creators unveiled a new poster with the slogan: "A new betrayal stealthily approaches the merchant and the wolf."
Despite the intriguing phrase, details of the second season's plot have not yet been revealed. It is only known that Passione studio has returned to production. Nobuyoshi Nagayama and Takahiro Majima have been appointed as directors, while Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei, who directed the first season, have moved to the position of supervising directors. Koji Haneda and Satona Sugimoto are responsible for character design, and Kevin Penkin is composing the music.
The exact premiere date for the second season has not yet been announced.
