Bandai Namco Releases New Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve Trailer Focusing on Online Modes

The game will be released on October 2 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Bandai Namco and Bandai Namco Aces have unveiled a new trailer for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, focusing on the game's online modes. The developers discussed the multiplayer component, cooperative and PvP battles, special events, aircraft customization, and the progression system.

Ace Combat Online features its own progression system. Players will start as mercenary pilots, create an avatar, and can develop it by completing various operations and earning rewards.

The online mode's hub will be an airbase capable of accommodating up to 100 players simultaneously. Here, players can communicate with other pilots, form temporary groups or permanent units, and embark on joint missions.

The main modes will be Co-Op Assault and Co-Op Warfare.
