Space King: The Board Game Crowdfunding Campaign Has Already Raised Over 200 Million Rubles - A Tabletop Parody of Warhammer 40,000
Fans of the animated web series Space King, who respect the Space King, will be able to enjoy Space King: The Board Game in 2027, where they will destroy aliens, collect loot, and "accidentally" betray their comrades-in-arms.
Space King – a satirical animated web series from the YouTube channel Flashgitz, which is a harsh, grotesque, and absurd parody of the Warhammer 40,000 universe – has quite a few fans.

On August 30, Tom and Don – the duo of animators, writers, and comedians from Flashgitz – launched a crowdfunding campaign for a board game called Space King: The Board Game on Kickstarter specifically for fans of the show. Two days have passed, so it's time to find out how this project is doing now.

The team's goal was to raise $50,000 (4,337,764 rubles), but the developers have already collected $2,789,157 (241,974,096 rubles), so there's no need to worry about the future of the board game. Moreover, thanks to generous sponsors, several stretch goals have been unlocked.

Currently, the basic box can be pre-ordered for $99 (8588 rubles), the Psycho Warrior set for $299 (25,939 rubles), Super Psycho Warrior for $699 (60,641 rubles), Psycho Monster for $1199 (104,019 rubles), and Globulus Maximus for $7777 (674,695 rubles).

In Space King: The Board Game, designed for 2–4 players, players take on the role of Psycho-Warriors, fulfill their conquering fantasies, destroy aliens, collect loot, unlock character abilities, compete with their brethren, and betray them to become the Space King's favorites.
The board game is expected to ship in December 2027.
