British Regulator Uncovers Safety Violations on Tomb Raider Set - Media

The incident is not related to Sophie Turner's injury in March.

The British Health and Safety Executive found violations on the set of the Tomb Raider series starring Sophie Turner. However, the inspection is not related to the injury the actress sustained in late March. Production was halted for two weeks at that time, but the nature of the injury was never disclosed.

According to Deadline, this time the claims were made against Project Temple Productions Ltd, responsible for the filming. The company failed to provide the necessary supervision for employees working with isocyanate paints to ensure that protective equipment truly prevented exposure to hazardous substances.

The order was issued back in April 2026, and by May 19, the company had complied with all regulatory requirements. There is no information about injuries or other consequences of the violation.

Amazon MGM Studios and Crystal Dynamics are jointly working on the Tomb Raider series, starring Sophie Turner. Filming began in January, but its completion has not yet been announced. The premiere date on Prime Video has also not been announced.
