New "Harry Potter" reboot trailer to be released on September 2nd - teaser shown

HBO will soon present new footage from the adaptation of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone."

HBO has released a ten-second teaser for the "Harry Potter" series and announced that a new trailer will be released on September 2nd. The video will likely be published around 7:00 PM Moscow time – major trailers usually come out around this time.

The video begins with a scene in the Great Hall, where Hogwarts students are banging on tables – likely in anticipation of an upcoming match. The following shots are dedicated to Quidditch and show Harry, Hermione, and the Gryffindor team before a game.

The first season, adapting the events of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," will be released on December 25, 2026. The main roles are played by Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout, who portray Harry, Hermione, and Ron, respectively.
